So, what's involved with surfing and can I do it?
Surfing is a physical activity where, yes, you will get wet.
That being said, our waters are quiet warm. . . . .around
76-77 in the winter and 80 ish in the summer. Nice! You'll
be active so the water temperature is about perfect. We do
have rash guards to help prevent any rash / chaffing while
on the board and these too will help keep you a little warmer
if that's required. We even have insulated ones for the "always
cold" folks. Call ahead, and we may even have a wetsuit
for you!
Everybody can surf. Bring Mom, Dad, the kids, Uncle Ernie,
Auntie Jane and even Grandma! It's something that many folks
can accomplish (but remember the camera for the "style"
shot!)
What do you provide, and what should I bring?
We provide you with a surfboard fit to your stature, rash
guards, and an instructor that is there for you. Our group
lessons are a lot fun; Goofy instructors and a giddy class
make for some easy entertainment. In a group and you can learn
from the others; you can see up close what they are doing
and mimic (or avoid) what they are doing. So, the only thing
required for you to bring is water proof sun block (get the
good stuff - leave the junk at home). Apply 30 minutes before
your lesson time and you'll be good to go (remember the back
of your knee's and ankles, and the creases in your body that
don't regularly see the sun (inside elbow, neck, etc). Oh,
bring that waterproof camera and a towel too!

Why don't you do lessons in Lahaina?
Simple - too crowded! You want to surf and not sit in
the line up. The more people, the longer the wait to surf

Daily 2 hour lessons at 8am, 10am, and 12 noon - reservations
required. Other times available on request
Why
Surfing will infect you with an amazing feeling of confidence
and pride. You won't need a prescription either! Really
though, its hard to explain the feeling of surfing. Trust
us and every other surfer out there, its awesome. Why
else do so many people surf in even the worst conditions
and cold water!

Do you guarantee that everyone stands and rides a wave?
Yes, we believe that there is only a handful of people in
the world who cannot surf and the chances are slim that they
will end up here with us. No really though, we will get you
